I am looking to buy a businessA range of products to finance MBO/MBI or Business Acquisitions |
At Sterling Capital Reserve we provide proactive services to the proposed management buy out team throughout the transaction. In such cases our role becomes pivotal. We deal with the vendor, the funders, the solicitors and other professionals on behalf of the MBO team, from inception through to legal completion.
It is easier to continue an existing company rather than start a new business and a management buy out could be your ideal solution. A funder will support you financially for Management Buy Out for a number of years but once the finance is repaid you will have gained an equity value in your own business for a relatively small investment.
Access to niche lenders outside of high street banks willing to fund MBo and MBI.
Our advisers are qualified chartered accountants with extensive corporate finance in large accountancy practices. Your case will be dealt with by experienced personnel not trainees or juniors.
Most advisers are restricted to larger deals of >£1m EBITDA. We specialise in both smaller and larger MBO's.
We are happy to provide a full lead advisory service taking MBO's from offer through to completion. We can also tailor our services to be restricted to fund raising only, ideal for situations where current advisers have structured and advised on a deal but are struggling accessing finance.
Most Management Buy Out candidates do not always have the financial resources to significantly contribute to the deal.
Based on the amount of equity that can be raised and the debt capacity, we are often left with a shortfall between funds raised and consideration.
This funding's advantage is repayment is not in the near future, therefore it is not a debt burden to the future trading performance of the business.
Debt finance is an integral part of any MBO with debt repayable over a fixed term, so from the outset we assess how much debt a business can service.
Crowd Funding is becoming a popular alternative to funding Management Buyouts as high street banks are still cautious lending in this sector.
For many business, borrowing against assets using a traditional high street bank or ABL (Asset Based Lender) simply does not work.
